Pearl

There once was a woman named Pearl

Who loved her hair wavy with curls

But the minute she hit the steamy street,

Her hair fell flat like her feet

Then she pouted and cried like a girl!

    • Thanks a lot, Izzy. Actually, I wasn’t too happy with line three–it kind of trips over itself a bit! Oh, well…

Will this be your first limerick then? It’s harder than it seems isn’t it. There’s a certain rhythm and rhyme to them–it’s quite an art to get them right.

      Hugs,
      Gayle xoxo

    • Limericks are pure silliness–fun to see how silly I can get! And make people laugh…

Hugs back to you from sunny Florida. Hey, we had our first little cool spell this weekend. Lows down into the low 60s–still in the mid 80s for the highs but the humidity is much lower. Now I know fall is out there somewhere and it’s not just a rumor! 😉
