I feel a buzz as the gunk goes down,
swirling and zigzagging as it reaches the sounds
of my gurgling stomach and the juices there found.
Slipping and sloshing it flips and it slops–
(The doctor said take it all ‘til the very last glop).
Oh, that was rough, tastes like paint thinner stuff–
But the germ is a bad one, or so I was told,
and it must be eradicated by this vile, purple funk.
For ten whole days, I must be tortured and bothered
while trying my best not to be a hothead.
But wait just a minute, I remember the trick–
A pinch of my nose and I’ll soon be un-sick!

/ November 9, 2010Well, I feel so sorry for you having to have gone through that but maybe that’s why you enjoy such good health today. Now people are touting the health benefits of fish oil but, like you said, they are in nice little tasteless capsules.

/ November 11, 2010the drug companies praise it to no end. i dont know about the authenticity of their words, they say it works wonder for skin, hair, eyes and resistance power. Dad also said the same. So it certainly was good for kids i guess.
you know, you will have a solid laugh i know, i used to feed it to misha, and she relished it to the core.
she used to lick the last drop of the syrup from her plate. yuck!

/ November 11, 2010Well I think that doctors today must find that some of those “home remedies” really have some good merit to them. Unfortunately, you had to start taking that stuff before they invented capsules to put it in so you wouldn’t have to be tortured by the foul taste.
That is too funny that you fed it to your dog. But of course he would love a nice fishy treat! Hahaha! Cute. xoxo

/ November 12, 2010yes thats funny, misha was crazy about fish. she started to refuse eggs when she was a bit old, so i used to prepare a fish stew type of thing for her, fish and green vegetables boiled together, and give it to her with rice, she just adored it.
