Dear friends…

Picture:  Google Images

I may be a bit scarce for a while as I’m in the process of moving.  I’m packing up and heading to Sebastian where my two daughters, and now, new baby granddaughter, Mira lives.  When my daughter and her husband return to work, I’ll be caring for Mira.  I’m really looking forward to this new chapter in my life and creating a loving relationship between Mira and I.

And look forward to getting back into the swing of posting and visiting all of you as soon as I’m settled.

Wish me well!

  1. I think Mira is in for a special relationship. It is never too early to read poetry to a child ( smile )

    • Well thank you, Bill and I think you’re right about the poetry reading. This may inspire me to focus on some “child friendly” verses to write for her.

      • reading to a child is such an intimate thing. We read aloud until my kids were seventeen. We started with kids stuff, and when they were teens we read Harry Potter, and Tolkien and The Wizard of Earthsea.

It makes me smile just to think of it.

        • Yes, there’s something very trusting and sweet in that exchange of reader and listener. I love that you read to your children well into their teen years…very special, Bill. I can see why that would bring a smile…

One who will bring baby Mira hours of hugs, kisses and beautiful stories for her to fall aleep by. So very happy for you, Gayle. It is a blessing that you have received and I’m sure you will not take lightly. A huge hug from someone who treasures your presence in this world.
