Fire Bug

Guy Fawkes Bonfire

Image via Wikipedia

A fellow was playing with fire

And created an enormous bonfire

The inferno blazed

Making the fire chief so crazed

He bought his ex-wife a sapphire!

    • Thanks, Izzy. I’d love to read a limerick from you. If you would like a prompt, go to Mad Kane’s site (see the link up there under my poem)–she’s the limerick queen!

          • I’ve been following a trial on TV for the past several weeks. A young mother accused of killing her 2 year old daughter. I’m fascinated with the whole process. Her defense team has rested their arguments on her behalf today–soon the jury will be deliberating her future. I definitely believe she is guilty of the crime… Very sad.

I spent time today and tonight with my mother again. Got home late–no writing done today either. 😦

  8. The ex-wife was all smiles, a sapphire and alimony. Just kidding.

I’ll be gone for awhile. This is to say thank you for your posts. Enjoyed them.

“Bad” is of course in quotations; to me it means courage.

Well, thanks so much for a nice way to tell me you’ll be taking some time off. Thanks for visiting and commenting to me, Apollorose.

I like that song–I’ve heard it before–yeah, you gotta be “bad”!

      See you later…

Yes I like this one Gayle…

A man stood on a burning deck
    His pockets full of crackers
But as a spark flew up his leg
It blew off both his shoes… lol

Well something like that anyway 🙂

    Have a lovely weekend now…
