Mira

This is Mira.  She’s my first grandchild.  She’s two months old.  She and her parents went on a road trip this past week to attend a wedding in South Carolina.  This photo was taken along the way.  She apparently enjoyed the trip and was a good little traveler.

These days I’m spending three days a week with her while her parents are at work.  I LOVE her!

  12. Arrrh Gayle, just look at those beautiful eyes, she is absolutely gorgeous,, and I dont know about you, but those who are being born today seem just to know what we are thinking, and they seem so much further forward today than when my own children were born some 30 plus years ago 🙂 I can see why you are captivated….
My nearly two yr old granddaughter in Dec is a little gem also… so intelligent holding a conversation already…
Thank you for allowing us to share… Love to you ~Sue xx

    • Mira seems to be a very focused baby and is already trying very hard to communicate with us. She’s really stepped up the vocalization in just the past couple of weeks. We pay close attention! Actually, when my two girls were born, I had the thoughts that they were aware little beings and I always spoke to them as if they knew what I was saying to them…not baby talk. But being around my sister’s grandson for the past five years, I realize how advanced he has been in speech and eye-hand coordination, etc. Maybe it’s all the techy toys and things that they have to play with these days.

Blessings to your little granddaughter, Sue…sounds like we’re both having lots of fun. Love and hugs…

She is a beautiful baby my great friend
and what a wonderful experience, of course
you do realise that your sleep patterns
are well out of the window during baby minding
but then that is part of the joy 🙂 🙂

Have a wondrously sweet evening Gayle 😉

    • Thank you so very much for the sweet compliment for Mira, Andro. She’s a little darling. Luckily, it is not my sleep patterns that are being disturbed…her parents have that privilege! I only watch her during the day (after I have had my full night’s sleep ;)). xoxo
