Silver Lining

open mind to those who are suffering
heart too opens with compassion
don’t despair, we will prevail
we’ll be changed for the better
because we’ve learned and grown
through the trials put before us
we’ve drawn closer
boundaries are dissolving
in spite of distancing

Today De is our host for the Quadrille, one of the more popular prompts. Head over to dVerse to check out her presentation and give it a try. It’s fun!

I agree, we will all emerge upon a new world. Unfortunately after the health crisis comes the economic rebuilding.

    • I hope we’ve learned that we’re not invincible and must be cautious and serious when it comes to our global health. I’m doing well, Grace, and hope you and your family are too, thanks.

  13. What good is going through something like this if we don’t learn from it? Of course, we’ll have to remove a certain someone from office who apparently has no common sense…or most likely no sense at all.

    • Me too! I hope that people will maintain a slower pace after it’s all over and take the time to appreciate the “little” things. Thank you for coming by and adding your thoughts.

  15. It is true, right? Even though distancing is required and this pandemic is horrific, I find myself communicating with old friends I’ve not heard from in quite a while…we tend to “check in” with others more. Not physically….but through social media and I’ve been writing letters again 🙂 Stay safe my friend.

    • It is true, Lillian. It seems we’re reaching out to to others and checking in. I video visit with my granddaughters and family and it’s so good to see them. I used to love writing letters to people. That’s a wonderful idea! You stay safe too, Lill. xoxo

There will be a time to reflect upon this cruelly devastating Pandemic, but for now we just need to focus on keeping safe and well . Your lovely words of encouragement will help us get there for sure.
