Wild Roses

The trellis is filled
with abundant, rainbow
hued blossoms of
pale sun, pinks like
baby cheeks and just
a light caress of
lilacs. Summer’s
bountiful rains
bring twining,
wild roses.
They thrive
weaving in and out,
and support each other,
climbing the arbor untamed.
