There he was
at the end of
my footstool—
begging again.
I was nibbling
on the kids’
favorite snack,
those cheesy,
crispy goldfish
crackers.
His furry face
stared, black
eyes intent,
watching every
move I made.
His teeth bared
in a sloppy, Sheltie grin.

/ March 7, 2016Oh that’s so familiar. My Papillon mix gives me a half-grin, just kinda raises one lip that quivers!

/ March 7, 2016i originally thought of my retriever’s grin for this prompt…but ended up fixating on a woman’s lipsticked lips instead:) I like the fishy snack and your furry beggar here.

/ March 7, 2016This made me smile. I have a little beggar, too, who gives me a cock-a-poo grin, especially if I’m eating sweets. Peace, Linda

/ March 8, 2016Corgis can grin too, but poodles struggle with it. Shelties are one of my favorite breeds.

/ March 8, 2016A hungry furry thing would certainly look with intent at the goodness on one’s plate. Food always a potent attraction naturally.Nicely Gayle!
Btw Hank located the Renga ‘game’ at the top left-hand corner and responded but late for a few days, though. For the next game, if ever there is one, Hank will know what to do. Thanks for the reminder, Ma’am!
