Bubbles

Bubbles were blowing up and
out into the breeze. For once
she was letting her guard down
instead of living in her own little
bubble. Her delight bubbled up
in watching her delicate creations
bobbing and dancing and then
popping on low tree branches.

Join us at dVerse Poets as we write a poem using the word “bubble” and in only 44 words.  De Jackson is our host today:  http://dversepoets.com/2016/02/22/quadrille-3/#comment-107075

  1. LOVE!
I have an extra one in my hopper I’m gonna post later…the story is so similar, it’s a little eerie. 😉 I love it when that happens, and I love your multiple uses of bubble here.

  3. I love this. I think it’s the “letting her guard down” part … not something I do easily or take lightly when I do.

  8. She found release in blowing bubbles, how freeing. i’ve got a bubble wand in the front room. That’s a great idea. I could wake my wife up blowing bubbles at her. hehehe
