Delirium

His car stuck in a snow drift,
he decides to leave it and
find help. He pulls his hat down
over his ears and begins to walk.
A mile later hypothermia
lulls his mind into a delirium
and he strips naked from the heat.

  2. Ouch.. They say that’s what happens in hypothermia.. It for sure speeds up the end doesn’t it. Maybe it’s a lull that’s for the best.

They say one can experience something similar while drowning; pure speculation, but enjoyed your dramatic take n the Q44.

  13. Yikes. This is not a happy lull and, sadly, it happens. We’ve seen it in the Sierras. Too often.
