Blessings

When passing a stranger in the street or watching those parade by you at the mall, with your deepest faith in all things good, project to them with heartfelt kindness and deliberation:  I wish you well.  I wish you peace.  I wish your soul’s most deep quietude and knowing.  May you be blessed.  May you feel love.  May you feel the compassion of the universe serving you in the utmost capacity.  May you feel happiness and joy.  May you remain at peace in the face of life’s challenges.

These blessings will go forth and touch all who receive them, and as an added bonus, these blessings will foster these very things within you.

This is a powerful meditative practice that simply asks that you wish goodwill toward others.  Watch as it brings wellbeing into your own life.

Luke 6:37-38 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38 give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

  10. Hi Gayle,

Indeed this is a powerful practise. I have been doing something similiar for a few years now, specially when I drive to office in the morning. Though I remain unsure how it supports the folks on the other side, I can see the peace and gratitude it brings within me.

    Great post!

  11. Hi Shakti…nice to hear from you and thanks for sharing your experience. I believe that as we wish others good will it can only help them…like a prayer would. I think that if we humans could only wish others well that it would indeed affect us all in positive ways. Thanks for coming by!

  12. After your visit, I made time to come for a visit, Gayle. What a perfect message – and a solid reminder. We’re all energy vibrating our way through life yet stumble over the fact we can send out these powerful thoughts of goodness with impact that ricochets. So simple – and we don’t have to understand it to practice it. Good to be here!

  13. I know I wrote you a message, Amy, and yet it has vanished…wonder what happened to it?? Well, anyway, I’m so happy to have had you pop over here to my almost completely abandoned blog and leave a message. 🙂 It was nice to visit you again too…there are always interesting topics and conversations going on over there.

Yes, everything is vibration…either at a lower or higher rate and certainly our projections (thoughts) can have an impact. What I like about that practice too is that it is anonymous…you can send out your positive intention for people without them even knowing, which to me, seems somehow an even nicer “gift.”
