Pause or Paws?

“What’s the difference between a comma and a cat?  A comma is a pause at the end of its clause while a cat has claws at the end of its paws.”

— Winston Chang

Sita in her paper patch...

Sita has paused to consider this clause…  She was busy “disemboweling” imagined critters in her paper patch.

  5. Love this Gayle! My Hemingway has the best time at Christmas playing in the discarded gift wrap. I leave it lay there for awhile just for his amusement. 🙂

    • Once I saw how much Sita enjoys paper…I always have a “patch” of it down for her to play with…my daughter does the same for her kitty. I love your cat’s name, Renee!

  6. Lol! Love this picture, Gayle. 🙂 Those in the “know” know exactly what a blast she is having in all that rustling paper! And that innocent “who me?” look is just priceless.

    • Hehehe…you’re so right…we know what a blast she’s having…she’s sure there’s “things” in there. 🙂 That’s exactly the expression…”who me?” If I try to watch her having pure, abandoned fun…she’ll stop and look at me with that expression…she’s too much!

  10. Sita is gorgeous. Isn’t it fascinating the way cats can find fun in very
simple things like paper. Sita makes me want to go and adopt a cat.
My Maya has been gone now almost two years. But my hubby’s
Marshmellow is 22 years old. I doubt if he’d like a kitty bothering him.
    Bless your Sita …..

    • Maybe Marshmellow should live out his last remaining time by himself…then perhaps go adopt another. I don’t think I ever want to be without a cat…I love Sita so much…a great friend! I’ll tell Sita of your kind compliment for her, Izzy…she’ll be so pleased. I think she’s really pretty too. xoxo

Yes and they are very sharp too 🙂 😉
especially when they jump up on the
    knees, miss, and drag themselves
up with those claws that you have
    mentioned 🙂 lol

A great idea for a posting this one 🙂

    • Oh, yeah. I’ve had that happen to me…yowch!!! Just had to clip Sita’s claws the other day…she was starting to “stick” to the couch when she hopped up. Glad you enjoyed the fun, Androgoth…thanks for coming by.

        You are very welcome Gayle,
I hope you are extremely careful when clipping the claws, so that you don’t accidentally cut into the blood line of the claw… Very painful that 😦

Have a wicked weekend now and be good 🙂

        • We are very, very careful when clipping her claws…I would hate to hurt her…and don’t clip too much off at a time. Thanks for your sweet consideration for Sita’s welfare.

I’m being very good, not very wicked…and kinda lazy today. 🙂

Yes I am being a tad lazy this weekend, so far I have done absolutely nothing, well not much anyway 🙂 lol Yes I thought that you would know about the clipping of your Sita’s claws but I thought just in case, that it was a good thought… I am thinking that Sita is a house cat? 🙂 Have fun Gayle and if wicked, or even naughty is a part of that, then all the better 🙂 😉

          • Sita is a regular house cat…a tabby…she doesn’t go outside. She does have a sweet face don’t you think?

I’ll try to have some fun this weekend…we’ll see if some wickedness or naughtiness happens…usually doesn’t… 😉
