Time

Time never was and
it never will be.
Philosophers can’t
agree and neither can we.

You can’t
race against it,
save it,
waste it,
pass it,
borrow it,
mark it,
make it,
give it or
take it–
and it’s not high.

Time can’t
fly,
tell,
ripen,
run out,
call it a night,
come,
go,
be lost
or found,
and it’s
not money.

We only have now.
The past is gone and the future is not a given.

  1. 🙂 Well said. The way this is written, it seemed very fast-paced to me. But that was then, and this is now. Hmmm… Maybe “time” is in the eye of the beholder? *grin*

    • Hehe… funny. Well, if you stop and think about it–the idea of time is very interesting isn’t it…and from what I’ve read, it’s an ongoing discussion.

I am surprised that you found the time to post this one Gayle… Yes an extremely poor attempt at a joke there, actually I rather like your slant on time, and as time is rather precious one should always enjoy it to the maximum, well I always do anyway 🙂 lol

    Have a really lovely
    Wednesday now Gayle 🙂

  11. Haha…you’re a funny one, Androgoth. I’m glad you’re enjoying your time to the maximum–you are quite fortunate to be able to do that! I can’t really say I enjoyed the dentist’s visit today… 🙂

Enjoy the rest of your week my friend. xo
