Perfect “S”

Kissing you upside down
lets me see you in a new
perspective.  Your features
change into a funny face.

Even at our age, we manage
to have fun, act quirky
and goof around like
when we were kids.

We’ve been together
so long, like an almost-worn
out-but-not-quite pair
of comfortable shoes.

Here’s to
kissing upside down,
loving right side up
and holding each other close.

We make the perfect “S”!

  11. Gayle, you are a romantic at heart. Loved this little slice of your life.

The only view I don’t recommend when you get to be my age (55 and over) is Girl On Top. When you look down at him (or her), it can be a bizarre sight! Don’t believe me, ladies? Place a mirror on the table, look down into it, and watch everything droop!!! Ha ha. Really loved your take on the Magpie… Love, Amy

    • Oh, I believe you, Amy–I don’t have to look in any mirror to know that! Haha…I think that “S” shape is maybe the perfect position–all you can see are each other’s faces! Thanks for sharing your wisdom here. 🙂

      Love,
      Gayle
