Growing up in the 60s
I did a little “token” smokin’
for fun and social linking.
But I soon realized my awakening
spirituality was a profound
trip I’d rather travel.

Lots smoke as part of spiritual enlightenment, depends on what exactly is being smoked. Some writers do believe and some scientists have proven that some herbs do increase awareness a little bit more causing a form of “enlightenment and enhanced creativity”
I just read the articles especially on marijuana, medicinal uses, rastafarian etc…

/ April 18, 2011You’re right. Also too, Native Americans have been known to use peyote/mescaline and other “herbage” in their spiritual practices and for pain management, etc.
I’m glad you enjoyed my 160 today.
