Enchanting ghostly orchid

Florida’s secret

These rare orchids are found only in Florida and Cuba.  They are found in the sub-tropical swamps of South Florida and most locations are kept secret.  Their true name is Ghost Orchid.

Hi – wow, I am a little freaked – how strange that we both opted to write a haiku about a white and ghostly flower. If you read my recent post, you’ll see what I mean!

    • Just got back from reading your posting, Chloe. That’s very odd isn’t it. I hadn’t written a haiku since I ended the challenge through Feb. with SIS and this popped into my mind today.

We must indeed have a connection!

      • Isn’t that uncanny, Olivia? That Chloe and I both wrote similar haikus about ghostly white flowers? What are the odds of that…

        Hehe! Don’t be afraid. xoxo

  8. Interesting. 🙂

When some think of swamps, a flower such as this doesn’t come to mind. Beauty could be found where some least expected.
