Unchanged

remains spirit–

joyful, unfettered, liberated,

forever free, and unchained,

deathless and limitless–

unbounded elation through delight.

Being peaceful brings awareness

~conscious~

Awareness brings peaceful being.

Delight through elation unbounded

limitless and deathless–

unchained and free forever,

liberated, unfettered, joyful–

spirit remains

unchanged.

My first word-unit palindrome poem and my entry for Monday Morning Writing Prompt:  Circular Poetry.  A palindrome can be read backward or forward. http://liv2write2day.wordpress.com/2011/03/28/monday-morning-writing-prompt-circular-poetry/#respond

    • I found a website called “Shadow Poetry” that has examples of different poetry forms. I’ve learned a lot from that site.

      Thank you, Michael!

  2. I like the choice of unchained in relation to freedom and peace. I think that is what most of us seek. The picture choice is inspirational as well. 🙂

  10. Clever! I like the “unchained” and then it is unchained – I read it forward and back again. It must have taken some time and patience to do this.

May your spirit be alwasy unchained, unfettered… Poem on …

  11. Brilliant message, amazingly represented. The ide of a palindromic poem is such a clever thing. To write one and have the message, rhythm and clarity of yours, thats sheer genius. Loved it.

    • Thanks so much, TLR. I’ve always been a bit fascinated with palindromes–words or phrases–so had to give this a try. I’m glad you loved it.
