No Referee Needed

My sister spent the night with me

We shared my king sized bed

We were children when

We last divvied up sides

We kept our feet to ourselves

No need for Mom to referee

    • But somehow they always seem to gravitate to your side of the bed to make contact with your warm flesh! Youch!

      Thank you, Monkey Man!

    I NOMINATE YOU FOR
    The Versatile Blogger Award

I am honored but I feel you are more deserving than I based on the way you paint
with words and write with hues of color.

  5. King-sized bed was a clue that I overlooked on the first reading. This is very good.

    • Yeah, king-sized beds help a lot. And as adults my sister and I seem to know where the boundaries are–hehe!

      Thank you.

  6. heheheheh… how sweet is that!! That’s very unlikely of kids (despite the King sized bed)… If I were given such a large bed when I was little, I would have be lost in it… hehehe

    Enjoyed this read, Gayle…

    • I think no matter how large a space kids have to sleep in they will gravitate to each other like a magnet! Or pile up together like puppies!

Glad you liked this, Kavita–thank you.
