In my dreams, I fly

heavenward to touch a star

boundless joy is mine.

  9. Are our dreams made up of some form of conscious desire in wanting something?

    • The picture was a prompt for our haiku challenge–I just love it. It gives me a real boost. I’m glad you like my poem–thank you, Apollorose. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think some of our dreams can be unconscious desires and maybe they help us sometimes work through issues in our lives. And sometimes, I have found, they confirm something I already know is true but don’t really want to face. Some I don’t have a clue about!

  10. Yes, sometimes we do lock things away because we’re afraid of facing them. And yes, our dreams do bring them to life.

But also, some of my dreams just don’t make sense at all, and others times, they do.
