Winter’s Warmth

The OTHER Sunny Side!

Winter’s warmth is here today

A respite from the icy cold.

The sun is bright, the sky is clear,

I feel cheerier when the sky is blue.

I believe that spring is near.

  1. It is extremely warm here, as well. Makes me feel that spring is just around the corner.

    • Your idea of extremely warm and my idea may be totally different. It hovered in the low 70s here today. I’ve spoken to my sister in Colorado recently and she’ll tell me it’s warmed up to the 40s where she lives! No, that is not in any way warm! 🙂

  3. I had that same moment yesterday as I was gazing at the nakedness of the trees. Bare as they were, they still had the nubs of buds ready to burst forth in greens, whites, pinks and a rainbow of other colors. Made me feel good. Thanks for playing along with the Sunday 160.

    • Hi Olivia. 🙂

Our spring is super quick–it quickly changes into summer way before summer should even be here. 😦

Thanks for the warm hugs…here’s some for you too. xoxo

      • I wonder how people manage in all that snow too! No snow where I live. It was very warm for winter this week–80F degrees yesterday. Tom and I worked outside in the garden–very pleasant.

I did live in a snowy state for several years when the girls were tiny. It’s a whole other way of life to deal with the snow. I’m glad I’m not in that type of climate any longer.

A huge blizzard is sweeping across the US this week. I don’t envy those people.

    • I feel especially bad for the people in Australia who have just gone through flooding and now this is coming at them. I hope they will be alright.
