  1. beautiful reflection…

  2. A double edged sword.. more sleep

  3. This makes winter sound almost bearable. That, my friend is hard to do.

    • I know, it’s very hard to do.

I am a complete whiny baby in the winter if it drops below 60 degrees and stays there for longer than three days–born and raised in Orlando, FL–the sunshine state!

I am in my whiny baby stage right now.

  5. Yes, time has passed by…

    xoxo πŸ™‚

  6. Well done and on target. This is indeed the blessing of winter.

  7. fantastic way of looking at winter πŸ™‚

  8. Thanks so much, Trisha. πŸ™‚ Any chilly weather there?

    • finally it is thinking about coming. it rained sparsely yesterday, as a result the day was quite chilly, today the temperature surprisingly shot up but not to the level of heat. πŸ™‚

last night i kept my windows closed from noon, and the last one was closed at eight thirty in night. usually they remain open till eleven in night πŸ™‚

      • I’m wondering what temperature “quite chilly” might be. It got down to 30 degrees F last night and only up to mid 50s this afternoon–here we go again with a too cold winter before winter has even officially started!

If the weather is pleasant, I really enjoy keeping the windows open for fresh air and breezes.

  9. to us thats freezing πŸ™‚ our chilly means somewhere near fifteen deg centigrades, and stormy weather, rain fall and gusts of wind. πŸ™‚

  10. So I found out that 15 degrees C is 59F. Yes, that’s chilly.

The weather has turned quite cold here. We’ll have a brief warm up to the 70s and then down colder than ever–weathermen are forecasting 21degrees F! I cannot believe it!

I’ve caught a cold from Tom so have been staying in and keeping warm–my throat is “scratchy” and my nose is “sniffly”.

  11. Khichri helps a lot, it heats up the body very much, be careful. Any way, with that freezing temperature there it wont be at all problematic if it heats up your bodies.

hope that naughty cold will be gone soon.

    • I ate the last of the kitchari last night for dinner and my cold is just about gone now. All in all, it was pretty mild–just a little congestion left.

  12. really happy to know that. πŸ™‚
    take care of yourself.

  13. It’s almost 3PM here and I’m still in my pajamas and bathrobe. I’m too comfortable just staying “as is” today. πŸ™‚

  14. i too sometimes do that, laze around the day.

  15. This morning had to go out in the freezing cold temperatures and take my mother to the dentist, so had to get dressed today. Haha! We were quite toasty in the car and it wasn’t too cold just to go from the car to the door of the dental office. I did some errands as she was worked on and then went back to pick her up and then we had lunch together. Nice visit with Mom. πŸ™‚

  16. i hope it was a routine visit to the dentist. how is she? Going out in the cold is the worst part of winter πŸ™‚

    • She’s just fine, thanks. Because her back bothers her when they work on her lately, they decided to give her a muscle relaxer during the procedure and so to be safe, she needed someone to drive her. It was very cold that morning but is warming back up now–the way I prefer it. πŸ™‚

  17. good hope the weather will improve and stay improved πŸ™‚

    • It looks pretty good for the coming week. My sister is coming Monday for a visit from Kansas for two weeks. My brother Rama is due here for Christmas. We love it when our brothers or sisters come to town! πŸ™‚

  18. sounds like someone is going to have loads of fun. πŸ™‚

today brownie is occupying my love and requesting me to cuddle him continuously πŸ™‚

  19. Already had my first visit with my sister, Mary, tonight. She’s the youngest of us kids–sweet as can be. πŸ™‚

Isn’t it nice to feel wanted by a kitty?
