Were we doomed from the start?

Women were to be feared and thus

conquered and held under strict control.

After all, it was we who thoughtlessly

went against God’s commandment

not to eat from The Tree of Knowledge.

We’re responsible for the downfall of mankind–

opening the gateway to sin and hell.

All from that simple first act of giving

into temptation, we set our destiny.

Is this the reason for man’s dominion

over us–we needing their guidance?

Has the world’s karma been

carried on the backs of sinful women

since that fateful day in the garden?

Temptresses!

When will we have finished paying off

this debt so the world can once again

abide in a state of love and innocence?

But wait, doesn’t our partner in

crime have to do some time?
