Went to Orlando today
to see Mom and a sister.
We had lunch and then
Mom and I went
shopping. She ended
up having to wait in
a chair while I
scouted around
getting the things
she wanted.
Her back and sciatica
kicked up and she
couldn’t shop.
I was glad I could
help her…it was a good day.

/ January 25, 2013… a very good day, I’d say. :-)
Nice that you could help out. Sounds like she’s dealing with a lot of pain. Not easy.
Bodhirose
/ January 25, 2013Yes, she is dealing with a lot of pain. It did feel good to be there to help her though. She does express her appreciation too.

/ January 25, 2013You’re turning out to be everyone’s salvation, aren’t you, Gayle? ;)
Bodhirose
/ January 25, 2013How did that happen?! No, I’m not… Now if I could only be my own salvation…that’s the real trick! :)
Lorna's Voice
/ January 26, 2013I think that in doing what you are doing, you somehow are being your own salvation…
Bodhirose
/ February 2, 2013Perhaps you’re right about that…thanks, Lorna.

/ January 25, 2013Is your sister older than you, Gayle? I commiserate with her on the…I call it my Psychotic nerve” thing as I often have problems one side or the other. It drives me crazy…hence, the label I’ve given it. LOL I hope she feels better soon and so glad you could help her.
Bodhirose
/ January 25, 2013It was my mother that I was referring to, Renee. She hurt it doing some pool exercises for her arthritis and ended up with sciatica! Crazy, huh? And I love your name for it…I’ve dealt with it before too and it took weeks to get over. It does make you psychotic! I hurt myself while golfing. :( Thanks for the support. It did feel good to be there for her yesterday.
Renee Espriu
/ January 26, 2013I’m so sorry. Why I thought it was your sister you were talking about I’m not sure. Can I blame it on a senior moment? Just turned 60 in August so I’m thinking it might be that. LOL :)
Bodhirose
/ February 1, 2013Yes, blame it on a senior moment. I blame most everything these days on menopause! I turned 61 in September so I have those senior moments too…argh! xoxo
Renee Espriu
/ February 1, 2013You don’t look 61 at all. My kids say I don’t but I certainly feel it. Probably just due to the Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I do have good days but I wish I had more. :) xoxo
Bodhirose
/ February 2, 2013Well, thanks about the looks, Renee. I’ve been “cursed” my whole life with looking younger than my years. When you’re 16 and look 12, not so cool but when you’re 60+ and look…well I don’t know how old I look…but it’s not so bad! I certainly feel older these days…the body sure goes through some interesting changes doesn’t it… Now where did I put my sense of humor about it all?! ;) xoxo

/ February 1, 2013Wonderful…We have to give a hand sometimes and think of other persons than ourselfs…We have only eachother!!! I understand that it feels good when you helped your mother!!!:-)
Bodhirose
/ February 1, 2013That’s right…it’s the least I can do for my mother. She’s 87 years old too…she needs help!
