Laundry today,
Mira’s and mine.
Folding tiny onesies,
bibs and blankets,
bring a warmth inside
thinking of her.
Fresh sheets on my bed
Will feel good tonight.

/ January 24, 2013I’ve never really minded doing laundry. It does seem to be a kind of meditative activity…sort of soothing…and yes, very nice to pause and think of the one whose clothing you’re tending. Especially a baby in my case…

/ January 24, 2013Ooh, I love folding laundry when it comes right out of the warm dryer–especially on extra-cold days like today. I feel all warm inside! Thanks!

/ January 24, 2013If I ever put my just-from-the-dryer clothing on my bed guess who would almost always make a nest in it? My cat, Sita…she loved fresh laundry!
