    • Thanks, Geoff…not so much a poem but an observation that I’m writing each day for the month of January for The Mindful Writing Challenge…they are called “small stones”. It’s sponsored by Writing Our Way Home blog.

Having a quiet evening tonight and then up early to watch baby Mira tomorrow. :)

      Have a nice week! xoxo

  2. Oh, so lovely to look back on our daughters’ births and see the trajectory of their lives till today. Beautiful, Gayle. And now there is a brand new baby girl to enjoy.

  3. Lovely reflection — of your daughter. Have you shared it with her?
Enjoy your time with Mira as well. :D

    • Yes, I posted it on FB and she saw it there. She actually was gone all weekend to Savannah for her birthday but saw it when she posted some photos of her trip.

So loving my time with that little sweetheart…it’s the best. Thanks, Becca!

  4. How lovely. You created a poem to commemorate the daughter you created. :)

  5. I love that you looked back at your own daughter’s birth even as you are helping with your grandaughter. The fullness of the circle … Lovely, Gayle. :-) Thank you for sharing this.

    • It’s hard not to. She reminds me so much of my two girls…even looks like them. It’s a lovely, bountiful, overflowing circle of devotion. I’m in my element, Jamie.
