trio of
small vased
flowers wilted,
dropping petals
grab the
cutting shears
and head outside
a snip of one
lanky, red rose,
two tiny
pink roses
and one
tip of the
pale pink
Bougainvillea
and we have
three fresh, tiny
bouquets to
enjoy
on the small
marble table
my day feels
brighter already

/ January 8, 2013The one thing I miss is holding them when they are but a little bundle of warmth and sweetness with the milky baby breathe. I’m so happy for you that it is your turn.Wonderful write. (Just an aside but did Mark contact you or did you just check the site. I haven’t heard a word as yet.) Take Care.

/ January 8, 2013I’m happy it’s my turn too, Renee..so enjoying her tiny sweetness…and that milky, baby smell. Mark advisded me in an email when the publication would be out and furnished a link to the Nain Rouge ezine. I did not have to go checking for it. You could always shoot him an email and see what the status is on your entries. Good luck.
