Floodlight flashing
on all night;
the thing’s gone haywire,
there’s nothing there.

/ January 3, 2013Interesting. What’s worse? The light incessantly interrupting the darkness or the darkness overwhelming you?

/ January 3, 2013Well at first, I felt alarmed that something had triggered it…a prowler? And it’s right at the corner of my bedroom. I don’t notice it once I’m going to sleep. I wear one of those sleep masks to keeep light out. I like it dark when I’m sleeping…my closed eyes apparently don’t make it dark enough. :)

/ January 3, 2013We have a security light for our backyard — and it also shines through our bedroom window … it is a bit disconcerting if it goes off and doesn’t power off shortly … I sleep with a mask as well … my closed eyes don’t think it is dark enough either! :) Glad to know it was nothing!!

/ January 3, 2013It seems the wind is now triggering it…off and on, off and on. Aren’t those masks great? It really helps me sleep better. :)
