Insight is imparted
with a blinding flash.

My mind reels with
a new consciousness.

The world looks different
but what has transformed?

Only my discernment
has changed the view.

  1. The problem with life is that we do not discern often enough to change our views, but too often get caught in the ruts of life that swing around and around in the same field. Good poem.

    • You’re so right. The “ruts of life” can be very difficult to overcome…it’s a true test…will we or won’t we. Thanks for a great comment, Thomas.
