I have the freedom to come and go,
out that window or through that door.
My third eye sees through each one,
portals of consciousness clear and bright.
This window stays open, my saving grace,
in-flowing awareness expands me higher.
When gazing through, I see the world
in all its glory–all illusions gone.
Vision surrounds in radiance,
aura protecting all within its space.
Focused breathing turns me inward,
prana permeates and increases bliss.
Seven chakras can be entered
pinpointing energy to make them spin.
Utilize all windows to support your growth,
a gift that’s bestowed upon us all.

/ September 12, 2011Very well said and so glad you can share this with others so that they may “see” what you’re speaking of! Writing IS a kind of meditation, it’s true, and I think that when you write about it, the writing becomes enhanced by being able to see with that inner eye. I absolutely LOVE that you use such spirituality in your writing, Gayle. Thank you for sharing such bright tidbits with us! :)
Bodhirose
/ September 14, 2011I hope people can see what I’m trying to convey. I’ve found that writing is an enhancement to a meditative practice. My spirituality “enveloped” me at a young age so it tends to show up a lot when I express myself.
I’m very grateful to you, Corina, for your very generous compliment. I really appreciate that you “get” what I’m trying to say. It’s very nice to be validated and understood. Many thanks! :)

/ September 21, 2011very nice write…i like how you put this together…i find that my time of meditation and reflection does allow me to see things much clearer and the real world beyond the illusions…

/ September 22, 2011Thank you, Brian–I appreciate that. Yes, meditation can be very helpful.

/ September 22, 2011I like the illustration of windows and doors as portals for consciousness. I have yet to try meditation, being always restless and easily distracted — perhaps it might be good for me to try. Thanks for sharing the experience through the poem.

/ September 23, 2011I do too–it’s a good metaphor for openness. I think meditation can be beneficial to everyone. I’ve practiced it on and off through the years. Even if you meditate for just a few minutes a day–you may see a difference.
