  5. Me too. I just love to see it. There was a video going around a few years ago of a crow that took care of an abandoned kitten. Amazing!

  12. Squirrels are beautiful–their eyes are dark little beads of blackness.

When we were growing up, we rescued a baby squirrel and took care of it until it was able to be let loose. It became very tame and would follow us around like a tiny dog. We called him “Pete”. He would come when we called. He was a darling angel.

My sister rescued one a few years ago when a hurricane blew through and knocked their nest down.

  13. i too have rescued a couple of squirrels, they can get very tame, thats for sure, a thing which is not at all good for them.

they are really pretty creatures, their eyes are so innocent, just like small children,.

    • They can get tame but it seems when you finally let them go that they assimilate well to being free again.

They are very sweet animals–with beautiful, innocent eyes.
