/ December 31, 2010squirrels are so beautiful, are not they? i love their eyes.
Bodhirose
/ December 31, 2010Squirrels are beautiful–their eyes are dark little beads of blackness.
When we were growing up, we rescued a baby squirrel and took care of it until it was able to be let loose. It became very tame and would follow us around like a tiny dog. We called him “Pete”. He would come when we called. He was a darling angel.
My sister rescued one a few years ago when a hurricane blew through and knocked their nest down.
trisha
/ January 1, 2011i too have rescued a couple of squirrels, they can get very tame, thats for sure, a thing which is not at all good for them.
they are really pretty creatures, their eyes are so innocent, just like small children,.
Bodhirose
/ January 1, 2011They can get tame but it seems when you finally let them go that they assimilate well to being free again.
They are very sweet animals–with beautiful, innocent eyes.
